Respiratory Therapist

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Respiratory Therapist, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional respiratory care to patients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in respiratory therapy and patient assessment to improve health outcomes. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide specialized respiratory support, manage ventilators, and ensure optimal airway management for patients of all ages. Responsibilities Assess patients’ respiratory status through detailed evaluation of vital signs, oxygen levels, and pulmonary function tests. Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including aerosolized medications, and oxygen therapy. Manage and monitor ventilators and other respiratory support equipment Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans. Conduct patient education on breathing techniques, medication administration, and post-discharge care. Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient responses, and vital signs. Requirements Valid licensure as a Respiratory Therapist with current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pulmonology, and medical terminology relevant to respiratory therapy. Hands-on experience with ventilator management, airway procedures, and acute care interventions. Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and respond swiftly in emergency situations.
