This role involves collaboration with engineers and project leads to ensure all designs meet project specifications and production standards, providing accurate and build-ready documentation across a range of projects.Qualifications:8+ years of experience in drafting or a related field, ideally within fabrication, entertainment, theatrical, or live event environmentsProficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and BricsCADFamiliarity with SketchUp, MicroStation, SolidWorks, and Revit is a plusStrong attention to detail and precision in technical workKnowledge of drafting techniques, standards, and symbolsAbility to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to evolving project needsExcellent communication skills for cross-department coordinationResponsibilities:Develop detailed technical drawings using software such as AutoCAD, BricsCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, and other design toolsCollaborate with engineers and architects to translate concepts into accurate technical documentationCreate 2D schematics and visual representations for design and fabrication teamsEnsure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to standards across all drafted plansReview and revise drawings based on feedback or project updatesSupport documentation for project bids and proposals
