You will be responsible for providing comprehensive support, including full graveside service setup, monument installation, and bulk product deliveries for cemetery stock. This position requires physical strength and the ability to handle various tasks such as carrying equipment, setting up burial vaults, erecting tents, arranging chairs, spreading grass and cocoa mats, and assisting Funeral Directors with flower handling.Essential Job FunctionsExcavating graves using a backhoe.Transporting burial vaults to cemeteries for stock delivery.Carrying concrete wastewater tanks using an A-Frame truck for delivery.Delivering products utilizing a semi-truck with a 53-foot-long trailer.QualificationsValid CDL Class "A" license is required.Must possess a clean driving record and pass a DOT physical.Ability to successfully pass the new hire drug test and random drug screens.Proficient in driving vehicles with manual transmission.Capable of covering a large travel area as needed.Proficiency in operating a backhoe.Ability to lift heavy objects weighing 75 pounds or more.Competence in reading maps and understanding directions.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Excellent organizational and communication skills.Demonstrated professionalism and courtesy in all customer interactions.Safely and efficiently drive the daily route while ensuring timely deliveries.Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.What We ProvideOpportunities for career advancement.Medical, dental, and vision insurance after 60 days of employment.HSA participation after 60 days of employment with company match.401k participation after 90 days of employment with company match.Company-paid Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability.Reimbursement for safety shoes and tuition expenses.Six paid holidays per year.One week of paid vacation after 6 months of employment.Evaluation with possible merit increase after 90 days of employment.Yearly performance reviews.Referral bonus of up to $600.Note: This job description outlines the core responsibilities and requirements but is not exhaustive.
