Founded in 2015, Copia Resources set out to be the premier ancillary services provided for its clients. Currently specializing in refuse and recycling programs/initiatives throughout Northern California and the greater Seattle, WA areas, Copia Resources plans to further expand to Southern CA as well incorporate several other core business units. JOB DESCRIPTION: Route Drivers are the leaders of a route. They work alongside Route Crew Members while utilizing routing software to help navigate routes and service client properties. Both Route Drivers and Route Crew Members service trash enclosures/rooms at client property sites by sorting recyclable items, sweeping and maintaining enclosure appearance. Loading and removal of bulk items from properties will occur daily as well. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Valid driver's license. (Commercial license not required) Clean driving record of at least 3 yrs (1 point or less with approval from company's car insurance) Able to work the following shift: Saturday - Sunday 12pm-8:30pm & Monday 8am-4:30pm Ability to repetitively lift 75+ lbs (furniture, appliances, household items Ability to push and pull a wheeled bin weighing 600+ lbs. Follows instructions from Senior Drivers / Field Operations Admin / Route Supervisors while working quickly and efficiently Able to drive/maneuver a trailer is a plus (NOT required) Must work well with others and represent Copia Resources Inc professionally Ability to send emails, text messages and picture messages by cell phone Ability to make decisions and think outside of the box Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Experience with waste management is a plus (NOT required) Job Type: Part-time Pay: $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 24 per week Benefits: Opportunities for advancement Paid training Physical Setting: Outdoor work Warehouse Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Evening shift Every weekend License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: Concord, CA: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: On the road
