Overview Extended Stay Properties is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for Southern Springs Extended Stay located in Lubbock, TX. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness, comfort, and overall experience of our extended stay hotel. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards will ensure our guests have a welcoming and enjoyable stay. Responsibilities Room Cleaning: Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including changing bed linens, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing bathrooms and kitchenettes. Common Areas: Maintain the cleanliness of common areas, such as lobbies, hallways, laundry rooms, and public restrooms. Laundry: Manage and process laundry tasks, including washing, drying, folding, and stocking linens and towels. Inventory Management: Keep track of cleaning supplies and report when inventory needs replenishment. Restock guest room amenities as needed. Guest Interaction: Provide courteous and professional service when interacting with guests, addressing their needs and requests promptly. Safety Compliance: Ensure all cleaning practices comply with safety and health regulations, including proper handling and storage of chemicals. Reporting: Report any maintenance issues, damages, or necessary repairs to the property manager or maintenance staff. Collaboration: Work closely with the property manager and maintenance staff to ensure a seamless operation and a high level of guest satisfaction. Flexibility: Be prepared to assist with other tasks as needed, including helping with special projects or deep cleaning efforts. Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting. Skills: Proficiency in using cleaning equipment and supplies. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures. Physical Ability: Must be able to lift, bend, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and quality. Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Dependability: Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, if needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience in housekeeping for extended stay properties. Certification in hospitality or housekeeping management. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Compensation Includes Competitive hourly wage based on experience. Employee discounts. Your primary work schedule will be Monday through Friday during normal business hours. However, flexibility is required as occasional weekend or holiday shifts may be necessary.
