Environment Field Technician

Hiring for Environmental Field TechnicianRequired Skills High School Diploma required. Minimum of 1 year of general work experience (environmental field work preferred). Ability to travel to job sites daily and occasionally travel longer distances or out of state if needed. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Ability to respond to system call-outs 24/7, including weekends and holidays when necessary. Comfort working outdoors in all seasonal weather conditions. Ability to walk long distances across landfill terrain, including steep slopes. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs on a non-consistent basis Ability to pass a company baseline health physical and drug screening. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to maintain accurate field logs and documentation.Preferred Skills 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification. Experience working with landfill gas collection systems. Environmental technician or environmental field experience. Experience performing environmental monitoring or sampling.
