Technical Product Manager

TITLE: Technical Product Manager DUTIES: • Maintain and update IT product roadmaps through collaboration with our co-founders and business teams; • Take ownership of information technology projects - leveraging coding knowledge to understand the challenges of building features at all levels of the stack as needed; • Define and measure product improvement requirements, including determining: the fundamental problem for the customer, how Sensor Tower can deliver it and how the impact can be measured; • Become an expert in the Sensor Tower platform - understanding the ins and outs of our data collection methods, data science, APIs, and product features; • Understand the various use-cases and end-users of our platform (ranging from Gaming and Financial Analysts to Performance Marketers, C-Suite executives, investors and more); • Work closely with our co-founders to proactively and continuously organize feedback throughout a product lifecycle; • Coordinate both with our customers and internal team members about upcoming feature releases and the value these features can provide to end-users; • Take ownership of IT projects - building features at all levels of the stack as needed; • Communicate and field questions regarding our products and product roadmaps from the business teams; • Be the resident expert of new products and features - training folks to speak on our products and understand use cases; • Collaborate with our marketing and sales teams to ensure product launch announcements and pitch decks are planned and executed in a timely manner; and, • Join client/potential client calls, as needed, as the resident expert that can speak from a more technical perspective. Telecommuting permitted from within the U.S., reporting to SensorTower's Culver City, California physical headquarters. REQUIRES: Master's degree in Information Technology, Information Technology Management, Engineering Management, or a closely related field, and one year of experience in program and/or product management in the mobile apps and/or gaming ecosystem. This must include one year of experience in each of the following: - Interacting with C-level, VP, and Senior-Director level clients. - Utilizing Ruby, MongoDB, Knockout.js, and/or AWS. - Utilizing product APIs and applying web development concepts. - Collaborating with UX/UI design teams and conducting usability testing and A/B testing. - In project management for complex software development initiatives, leveraging software such as Jira or Github. OR Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Technology Management, Engineering Management, or a closely related field, and three years of experience in program and/or product management in the mobile apps and/or gaming ecosystem. This must include three years of experience in each of the following: - Interacting with C-level, VP, and Senior-Director level clients. - Utilizing Ruby, MongoDB, Knockout.js, and/or AWS. - Utilizing product APIs and applying web development concepts. - Collaborating with UX/UI design teams and conducting usability testing and A/B testing. - In project management for complex software development initiatives, leveraging software such as Jira or Github. Experience may be gained concurrently. LOCATION OF EMPLOYMENT: Culver City, CA. May telecommute from within the U.S., reporting to Los Angeles, California-area office.
