Senior Manager, Data and AI Programs
Coordinate the management of a strategic portfolio which includes multiple related programs and projects directed toward an enterprise pillar. Partner with business leaders at all levels to envision, define and initiate programs. Provide direction and guidance to program and project managers to monitor cost, schedule and technical performance of component projects and operations, while working to ensure the ultimate success of the program.Provide a single point of responsibility and authority for multi-program execution in support of a strategic portfolio within an assigned enterprise pillarCapture the portfolio impact and value creation against strategic objectivesLead the creation and delivery of the business and supporting capabilities necessary to reach the goals of multiple programs and projectsCoordinate the planning and operational implementation of programs across multiple programs or projects within the strategic portfolio/enterprise pillarManage risks and resolves issues requiring senior level attention leveraging the appropriate governance structure of the EPMOCommunicate information and recommend criteria for governance actions and decisions with the EPMODevelop and improve portfolio and program processes, apply business and organizational knowledge and leadership skillsAct as an advisor and provides leadership for the program management teamManage complex multi-program work environmentDetermine and implement a cultural change management planImplement supporting communications strategy to ensure the occurrence of cross program communications, coordination and supportCompose and deliver periodic presentations for executive management, the Program Operating Committee, and the Executive Steering CommitteeFacilitate the development of a cost benefit analysis and return on investment for each projectDevelop budget, financial projections and forecasted ROI for the programAid in the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes and coordinating preparations of proposals, plans, specifications and financial conditions of contractsRegularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in performance of his/her job dutiesJob SpecificationsTypically has the following skills or abilities:Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experienceMinimum 8 years of experience in project management/program management, leading large and complex projectsMinimum 8 years of experience with various project management methodologies, standard concepts, practices, procedures, tools, and/or software packages within a structure PMO environmentRely on extensive enterprise level experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsProven ability to navigate complex situations through organizational landscape and with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the enterpriseStrong leadership skills to coordinate and motivate program and project teamsAdept at financial management to administer budgets across multiple projects and ensure the program meets its requirements for return on investment, timing and budgetAbility to drive results through informal authority, serve as a consultant to key business partners, and represent users and customers in every thought and interactionProven ability to successfully manage risks/issues across multiple programsAbility to elicit cooperation from Executive & Senior Management and other departmentsDemonstrate ability to be a decision-maker showing balanced consideration of business issuesExcellent written and verbal communication skills and analytical skillsStrong business aptitude and problem-solving skillsStrategic skills to support envisioning work, program planning and forecastingWilling to travel as required (estimate 10%)Preferred Skills Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure, GCP).Familiarity with data governance, privacy, and responsible AI frameworks.Strong financial acumen and experience managing program budgets.Certification in project or program management (e.g., PMP,PgMP) is a plus.#LI-VISIONCARECompensation range for the role is listed below.
