Job Highlights Position: Family Nurse Practitioner Setting: Outpatient, Community Health Center Start Date: March 3, 2025 (or as soon as credentialed) Duration: 3-month contract with potential for extension Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hours/week), no call Patient Load: Up to 18 patients per day (newborns to geriatrics) Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care, including acute, chronic, and preventive services. Conduct basic procedures like injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical assistants, mental health therapists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals. Utilize EPIC EMR for patient charting and documentation. Care for a diverse patient population, including migrants and refugees, with interpretative services available onsite. Requirements Active Washington State Nurse Practitioner License and DEA certification. Minimum 2 years of experience as an FNP with recent face-to-face patient care. Clean background with no malpractice history. COVID and flu vaccination required. Board Certification required. Spanish or Russian language skills are a plus but not mandatory. Compensation and Travel Competitive hourly rate Travel, lodging, and car rental/mileage expenses covered. Additional Details Orientation includes a one-week ramp-up; patient care starts by day three.
