DescriptionAccounts Payable SpecialistElevate your AP career - make every dollar count!You’re a detail-oriented accounting professional who is passionate about numbers and accuracy.Your creative problem solving, organizational abilities, and communication skills allow you to effectively collaborate and stay focused on delivering high-quality results.If you have a knack for ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and excellence in financial transactions, we want you on our team!What you’ll do (and why you’ll love doing it!)As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be at the heart of our Accounting department, handling all accounts payable functions with precision and care.Your role will involve processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and supporting the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.You’ll grow your breadth and depth of AP accounting through the following:Aging Resolution: Monitor payables aging weekly and resolve any aged items promptlyVendor Compliance: Ensure all necessary documents, including IRS Form W-9 and vendor agreements, are on fileFile Maintenance: Maintain organized electronic records of vendor information, invoices, and statementsReconciliation: Reconcile monthly vendor statements, address discrepancies, and obtain outstanding invoicesMonthly AP Accrual: Provide essential accrual information to the Senior Accountant for monthly processingSupport & Backup: Serve as a backup for the Travel and Entertainment Clerk, assisting with expense report review and approvalThis is an exciting opportunity to grow your skills and contribute to our company’s financial and compliance health!What we offer you as part of #PrecoaLifeCompetitive non-exempt salary based on experience18 days PTO and minimum 6-weeks paid parental leave10 paid holidays annuallyHealth, Dental, and Vision benefits401k, with company match$25,000 AD&D Policy and $25,000 Life Insurance PolicySkills you may have to make you a success!2+ years relevant work experience, preferably in a team settingB.S.
