We are PROUD to serve America's public safety professionals by providing the broadest selection of uniforms, equipment, and solutions combined with great customer service.Emblem Machine Operators are responsible for applying emblems (such as patches or logos) to garments and apparel using the emblem machine(s).WHAT YOU'LL DOSet up the machine to include the threading of needles and bobbinsControl and adjust machine settings as needed to maintain high-quality performancePosition garments and patches in the correct placement on the machineTest the machine periodically and perform basic maintenance, including cleaning and replacing needles and bobbinsFix issues that might occur during the shiftCheck output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws, and ensure the finished garment conforms to the pick ticket instructionsFollow standard operating procedures to achieve productivity and quality standardsCross-train and work in other areas within Production/Warehouse as neededManagement reserves the right to assign other duties as neededWHAT YOU BRINGProven experience as a machine operator and familiarity with sewing are preferredAbility to work in a quick-paced environment with accuracyExperience working with regular keyboard functionsWorking knowledge of high-speed machineryUnderstanding of production proceduresAdherence to health and safety regulationsAbility to read a work instruction document (WID) in EnglishAnalytical skillsAttention to detailTeamwork and communication skillsPhysical stamina and strength for standing for the entire shift and performing necessary movements to operate the machineAbility to work OT during the week and weekend as neededA high school diploma or equivalent technical degree is a plusWHAT YOU SEND OUR WAYYour resume, highlighting your education, experience, and skillsWHAT WE OFFERExcellent medical/dental and vision coverage—Eligible 1st day of the month after start date401(k) retirement plan with company contribution (because you will retire someday)Flexible benefits—choose what you like, ignore the restGenerous employee discountVacation and Personal TimePaid HolidaysTuition reimbursementDaily Pay: up to 50% of your payEOE/Disability/Vets
