Senior Facilities Analyst
What You’ll Be DoingProvide advanced support to the Missile Defense Agency as a facilities analyst for facility and real property management and sustainment.Work as part of an interdisciplinary technical team, participating in site facilities working groups to plan for maintenance activities and facility changes.Support the Government Project Manager to plan, program, execute, and document Military Construction (MILCON) and sustainment, restoration, and modernization (SRM) projects.Anticipate, plan, track, and document facilities maintenance activities (corrective, preventive, predictive), using BUILDER e-SMS and ISR-I.Review facility infrastructure and facility equipment concerns and develop/coordinate scope-of- work and plans to address.Coordinate government cost estimates for facilities projects and track project funding.Provide surveillance of maintenance and/or construction contractor activities and review technical designs and submittals.Prepare decision documentation at the General Officer/Senior Executive Service level to include briefings and supporting materials such as executive summaries, courses of action, status reports, and information papers.What Required Skills You BringA Bachelor’s degree with 13+ years relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experienceMust possess or be able to obtain and maintain a DoW Secret security clearance - this requires US CitizenshipProficient using Microsoft Office and Adobe software suitesExperience with sustainment management system (SMS) programs to include BUILDER and Army ISR-IExtensive knowledge, skills, and abilities as an analystCapable of leading the development and utilization of analytic tools, techniques, and processes for both technical and administrative support activitiesCapable of working independently or in a team to solve problemsCapable of providing daily supervision and direction to support teamsStrong technical writing skillsAbility to resolve issues and make sound decisions which are in the best interest of the government customerAbility to work independently, organize and prioritize workAbility to learn and support multiple projects in a fast-paced work environmentAble to develop strong rapport with personnel representing internal and external organizationsDesired but not RequiredMissile Defense Agency and DoW facility O&S engineering managementWorking projects in conjunction with the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and host installation Department of Public Works (DPW)Facility condition assessments, facility repair, and renovation project standup and executionUSACE/Host Installation construction, repair, and renovation projects surveillance and oversightProject planning, design scoping, and schedule development and analyticsDeveloping, implementing, and revising facility systems operations maintenance manualsFacility planning and engineering to support stakeholder requirementsSpecialized relevant DoW facilities engineering and maintenance knowledge, working as a member of the team to assist with solving complex problems. Electrical/power systems experience is preferred but not a requirement.
