Part-Time Seasonal Street Maintenance Worker
Temporary/Seasonal: Summer Months Only - May 2026 through August 2026(up to 40 hours per week)SummaryPerforms daily maintenance tasks that assists the Street Department personnel with the maintenance of streets, drainage systems and vegetation control, including operating small equipment as necessary.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Performs general labor as assigned in the maintenance of streets, drainage systems and vegetation management; Operates small equipment such as weed-eaters, crack sealer and other equipment used in the maintenance of streets, drainage facilities and vegetation management;Performs work with manual tools to paint curbs, medians, and other areas in need of routine maintenance; andAssists with general roadway maintenance when needed.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis is a non-supervisory position.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be at least 17 years of age to be considered to handle small equipment.
