Job Description Summary The Project Engineer plays a critical support role within the Operations team, serving as a key liaison between the Owner, Architect, Subcontractors, and internal project staff. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate project documentation, supporting field operations, and ensuring information flows efficiently throughout the construction lifecycle. The Project Engineer assists the project team in delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements.Duties & Responsibilities Project Coordination & SupportAssist the Project Manager and field leadership to maintain schedule and budget alignmentDevelop a thorough understanding of all contract documents and subcontractor scopes of workProvide administrative and coordination support to both field and office teamsDocument Control & File ManagementMaintain and update the Contract Drawing Log within ProcoreManage and organize on-site project filesFile and maintain all project-related correspondence for reference and complianceSupport project closeout by archiving plans, files, and related documentationSubmittals & RFI ManagementAssist in obtaining, logging, tracking, and distributing submittals in accordance with project specificationsSupport management of Requests for Information (RFIs) and potential change order documentationMaintain accurate logs for tracking and follow-upProject Documentation & ReportingCoordinate and maintain records including:Pre-construction meeting attendanceMeeting minutesPermits and inspection documentationConcrete pour schedules and placement activitiesField coordination documentationScheduling support updatesCloseout documentation (warranties, guarantees, O&M manuals, etc.)As-built drawing compilation and distribution to the OwnerAdditional ResponsibilitiesPerform other duties as assigned to support project success and team objectivesQualifications & Requirements Technical SkillsExperience with Procore preferredFamiliarity with Timberline, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and P6 scheduling software desiredExperience with Prolog or Expedition may be considered comparableProfessional AttributesStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environmentTeam-oriented mindset with willingness to assist in meeting critical deadlinesOpen to learning internal procedures and contributing to overall team performanceBenefits Medical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife Insurance401(k) with company matchParental LeavePaid Time Off (PTO)Paid HolidaysLong-term and Short-term Disability InsuranceSupplemental Insurance
