Infection Control Nurse

Qualifications Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and hold a current LPN or RN license in the State of Illinois Skilled Nursing Facility Infection Prevention Experience Must have working knowledge of general nursing and geriatric nursing Knowledge of JCAHO, OBRA, IDPH, HFS regulations Compassion, tolerance and understanding of older adults Objective Responsible to organize, develop, coordinate and direct the infection control program and it's activities in accordance with the current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern such program to ensure that the highest degree of quality of care is maintained at all times. These services are consistent with the Home's standards and philosophy and are in compliance with all regulations, codes, policies and procedures that govern the facility.
