Job Summary:Direct and manage all Pack Out operations with overall responsibilities for production, efficiency, labor, quality, safety, and other production-related activities. Supervisory Responsibilities If Any: Yes Duties / Responsibilities:§ Operations and supervision of all packaging lines to ensure the process, people and procedures are in line with the company's goals. § Supervises and coordinates activities such as work procedures, employee rotation, work schedules and attendance § Ensure both personal and product safety is the focal point. § Ensure proper staffing daily. § Coordinates with management to assure production activities are as efficient as possible § Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives. § Promote continuous improvement throughout the process. § Tracks and communicates employee performance and provides disciplinary / corrective action as needed. § Note: The responsibilities and tasks outlined in this document are not exhaustive and may change as determined by the needs of the company. Required Skills / Abilities:§ Proven experience in leading and/or supervising a team of packaging associates. § Computer knowledge of Word, Excel & Microsoft. § Knowledge of ERP M3 system, Infinity, Insperity & M3. § Flexibility in working schedule and able to work 2nd shift hours. § Knowledge of KAC Mac, Metal Detectors, X-Ray, Label Applicators, Transfer Belts, Scan Guns Percent of Travel If Any: None Work Remotely Yes or No: No Education / Experience:§ High school diploma or equivalent required. § Supervision & Food Manufacturing experience required. § 2+ years of experience in a packaging manufacturing environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tool, or controls; reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
