Experienced Security Integration Tech

Job Overview We are seeking a Experienced Security Technician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to further their career in technology and enterprise level security systems. The Technician will be responsible for installation, configuration, programming, troubleshooting and maintenance of various security systems, including Access control, gate control, CCTV, VMS and surveillance equipment, Fiber Optic and Intrusion systems. MUST have a THOROUGH understanding AC / DC circuits, wiring and programming of mentioned enterprise level systems. This role offers an excellent opportunity to focus on customer satisfaction and doing the job right! Responsibilities Installation and configuration of security system network, Access Control, Gate Operators, CCTV surveillance and intrusion equipment. Head end installation and wiring. Turn on and test all electro-mechanical and electrical components of security installations. Perform cabling installation and termination when necessary. Collaborate with team on project needs and progress. Communicate with clients to provide updates on work being performed and resolve any concerns. Qualifications Maintain safe working practices and environment. Programming of both edge and head end equipment knowledge required. Mechanical knowledge related to installation processes for access control equipment (locks etc.) required. Understanding of security networking principles required. Experience with wireless antennas desired. Fiber Optic termination/ knowledge desired. AC Electrical knowledge a plus. Fire system knowledge a plus.
