Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and professional customer service Manage restaurant reservation systems, including booking, confirming, and updating reservations accurately Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization and minimize wait times using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Answer incoming phone calls with proper phone etiquette, addressing guest inquiries and reservations efficiently Support food service staff by assisting with guest seating and ensuring timely table turnover Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to promote a welcoming environment Communicate effectively with team members regarding guest needs, special requests, and seating arrangements to ensure seamless service flow Qualifications Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant or food service environment preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Experience with restaurant reservation management and table management systems such as Tock Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and clear verbal interaction Organizational skills to manage multiple tables, reservations, and guest requests simultaneously Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices to ensure guest well-being and satisfaction This role is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about hospitality who thrive in lively environments.
