Java Software Engineer

Coltech is looking for an experienced Java / Full-Stack Engineer to join a major automotive client on an exciting new project.This is an opportunity to work within a large-scale enterprise engineering environment, developing and integrating APIs, supporting modern Java applications and contributing to cloud-based technology initiatives.What we're looking for:Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.Hands-on experience with APIGEE 2.0 API Gateway, including API development and integration.Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices and enterprise application development.Experience working in Agile engineering teams.Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience is highly desirable.Contract details:Location: Detroit Metro (Dearborn / Livonia)Hybrid: 4 days on-site, typically remote FridaysDuration: Initial 3-month contract, with strong potential for extensionStart date: ASAPRate: $60–$70 per hourCandidates must be local to the Detroit Metro area and available to work on-site four days per week.We're looking to move quickly on this opportunity, so if you're interested or know someone who could be a good fit, please reach out directly or send your CV.
