Construction ManagerThis role will be located at an OCONUS location and be 100% onsite. KBR is in search of a skilled Construction Manager to lead construction projects and task orders (TOs) to recapitalize, complete major repairs, new construction, and augment the existing infrastructure in addition to the required operations and maintenance of our customer's sites. You will manage a team of specialists, focusing on operational effectiveness, maintenance, safety, and environmental compliance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, analytical acumen, an eye for detail, and a proven ability to make decisions and adhere to strict deadlines. This is a 24x7 operation which requires provision of on-call support. In the role of Construction Manager, your duties will include: Direct the facilities' construction and maintenance at each site including but not limited to job site document control and distribution of drawings, specifications, and all other technical documents Directs project construction planning, safety, cost control, and scheduling activities Interpret drawings and implement specifications for job site queries Resolves job site technical issues encountered during execution of construction projects Formulating and enforcing operational and construction standards that support company objectives, contractual requirements and comply with regulatory and environmental standards Hiring, training, and leading a competent workforce to be versatile and technically savvy Keeping a close watch on contractual obligations and staying informed of any regulatory changes that impact facility operations Orchestrating activities to align with the overarching contract requirements and to ensure smooth site operations Provide technical support to site operations, guaranteeing the continuity of critical infrastructure operations, with a commitment to reliability for around-the-clock mission support Communicating effectively with diverse teams, responding to questions, and solving a range of operational issues This is a contingent position based upon contract award and will be located OCONUS. REQUIREMENTS: Must possess an active SECRET security clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI w/ Poly level clearance. Bachelor's degree in a Construction related field; OR Diploma or equivalent AND fifteen (15) years of experience in management-level positions. 5+ years' experience in Construction Management OR ten (10) years trade experience with at least five (5) years in supervisory or site lead positions. Experience in managing high dollar projects, directing sub-contractors and skilled workers. Experience in managing multiple site locations. Experience in managing small projects in a fast-pace environment, using a variety of laborers and contractors. Preferred Skills, a plus: Experienced in managing an A&E staff. Experience in management of OCONUS personnel. Experience with Capital construction work within OCONUS locations. Ability to react quickly to customer needs and changing priorities.
