AmbulanceAbout the RoleThe Company is in search of a Chief for its Cancer Institute, a pivotal role in the strategic and operational leadership of oncology services. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a culture of clinical excellence, education, and research, and will play a key part in the development of programs and partnerships to advance the organization's goals in cancer care. This includes ensuring integrated, patient-centered care, standardizing quality and safety practices, and overseeing the financial and clinical operations of the cancer institute. The Chief will also be instrumental in the recruitment, development, and mentorship of physician talent and will be expected to provide outpatient clinical care as an active member of the medical staff.Applicants for the Chief position at the Cancer Institute should hold an MD/DO or equivalent with current Board certification in hematology and medical oncology, and have a minimum of 7 years' of postgraduate clinical experience in an academic or community-based cancer program. The role requires a leader with a strong clinical focus, proven experience in leading a clinical program, and a commitment to patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will have a background in quality initiatives, graduate medical education, or research, and demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills. A key aspect of the role is the ability to create a culture of engagement and teamwork, as well as experience in recruiting, developing, and mentoring physician talent.Hiring Manager Title
