They will know how to explain it, show it, and make the market care.We are looking for a Technical Storytelling & Content Systems Lead to build the engine behind how Trossen shows up in the world.This is not a traditional marketing role.This is not a pure video production role.This is not a generic social media job.This is a role for a builder. Someone who can turn technical innovation into stories people understand, turn demos and customer momentum into content that travels, and build the systems that allow a lean team to produce like a much bigger one.What You'll DoTurn robotics, AI, cloud, and product complexity into clear, compelling stories for customers, partners, and the broader marketCapture and create content from the inside, including product demos, engineering milestones, customer use cases, launches, trade shows, and executive ideasOwn the flow from raw material to polished output across video, social media, presentations, launch assets, web content, email, and sales-supporting materialsBuild repeatable systems for content planning, production, repurposing, publishing, and performance trackingUse AI tools aggressively and intelligently to accelerate research, scripting, editing, repurposing, workflow automation, and analysisHelp shape Trossen's voice across LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and other relevant channelsWork directly with leadership to turn ideas into strong public-facing contentSupport major company moments with narratives, visuals, presentations, and launch materials that feel sharp, modern, and differentiatedHelp ensure conferences, customer visits, and product moments produce content and follow-through, not just activityWhat Success Looks LikeTrossen feels clearer, more relevant, and more magnetic in the marketOur launches feel bigger and more polishedOur demos go furtherOur conference presence turns into content, energy, and pipelineOur social channels become more consistent and more influentialOur leadership team has a faster, sharper way to get ideas into the worldOne person, using strong judgment and the right tools, creates output that feels much bigger than the size of the teamWho You AreYou like building from scratchYou can see the story inside technical workYou move quickly from idea to executionYou have strong creative instincts and strong operational instinctsYou care about quality, but you also shipYou are fluent with modern AI tools and know how to use them for leverage, not just noveltyYou are energized by robotics, AI, hardware, or other technical fieldsWhat We're Looking ForStrong experience in content, storytelling, growth, marketing, media, communications, or a related builder role in a fast-moving environmentExcellent writing and editing instinctsAbility to make technical or complex topics interesting without flattening themExperience creating across multiple formats including short-form video, longer-form video, social content, presentations, launch materials, and executive contentReal fluency with modern AI tools for research, writing, editing, transcription, automation, repurposing, and creative accelerationExperience building systems and workflows, not just one-off assetsComfort working closely with executives, engineers, product teams, and commercial teamsHigh ownership, strong judgment, and low egoEspecially ValuableExperience in robotics, AI, deep tech, developer tools, industrial technology, or technical business-to-business (B2B) marketingExperience supporting founder-led or executive-led contentExperience with conferences, product launches, and customer storytellingExperience creating content tied to go-to-market (GTM), sales enablement, or demand generationComfort with design tools and presentation-buildingExperience building content operations inside a lean teamLocationThis role is onsite in Downers Grove, Illinois. We are looking for someone who wants to be close to the products, the demos, the team, and the day-to-day energy of the business.
