Embedded System Software Engineer

Sponsorship is NOT available NOW or in the FUTURE for this role.Pay: Negotiable depending on direct-related experience up to $48 - $55 an hourKey Responsibilities:Perform embedded systems engineering: requirements analysis, design, integration, and testing of vehicle controllersDevelop features in C for internal embedded operating system softwareBuild modern C# software tools and scripts to enhance development efficiencyCreate and maintain Python test automation frameworksLead innovation to define next-generation tools and workflowsProvide support and collaborate with stakeholdersAnalyze and resolve technical challengesRequired Skills & Experience:Embedded software development proficiency in C and C++Strong C# and object-oriented programming expertiseClear understanding of embedded development workflowsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesProven problem-solving skillsAbility to work independentlyDesired Skills & Experience:GNU Make and Python scriptingCAN protocols knowledge (J1939, ISO 14229, etc.)Diagnostics for mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systemsLow-level/middleware driver developmentAUTOSAR/John Deere OS experienceExperience in agile software developmentEducation DetailsBachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent work experienceWork Authorization: Must be currently in the United States with active employment authorization documents without CURRENT or FUTURE sponsorship transfer requirements.
