They are a leading global company specializing in the design, manufacturing, and servicing of critical tooling and ground support equipment for the defense, aerospace, and energy industries.Why Join Them?Lead Strategic Growth: Drive operational excellence and contribute to the expansion of a key division.Optimize Complex Operations: Lead and manage diverse operational functions, from design and manufacturing to supply chain and quality.Build High-Performing Teams: Develop and mentor a talented team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Drive Innovation and Efficiency: Implement process improvements and strategic initiatives to enhance productivity and meet evolving client needs.Make a Significant Impact: Play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality solutions and exceeding client expectations.What You'll Do:Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all operational activities, including design engineering, manufacturing engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality.Manage budgets, monitor revenue margins, and implement strategies to maximize profitability.Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.Oversee large-scale projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.Work with HR to hire and train competent personnel.What You Bring:A strong technical background in manufacturing, ideally with experience in complex metal fabrication or related industries.Proven leadership experience, with a minimum of 8 years in a supervisory role within a production environment.Expertise in MRP systems and experience with process improvement methodologies.Strong project management and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A masters degree in business, industrial/supply chain management, or related field is preferred, but a bachelors degree with relevant experience is also acceptable.Proficiency in MS Office Suite; familiarity with CAD software is a plus.
