Project Product Manager
Job Title: Manager-Project/Product III Job Location - Rosemead, CA Duration - 06 months M-F 8-5 - Monday/Tuesday on siteJob ResponsibilitiesManages activities of one or more large, mid-to long-term projects with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods, and outcomes.Develops business plans, objectives, and initiatives for the organization. Provides inputs to organizational objectives and policies and ensures delivery of results.Engages regularly with senior management as a key consultant on critical business issues.Manages and executes HR projects, collaborates with cross-functional HR teams, and sets tactical and strategic priorities.Takes a lead role in implementing change management strategies for HR projects and creates communication plans and materials to engage and inform employees and stakeholders.Implements benefits realization, satisfaction surveys, and metrics tracking to quantify HR project ROI and value delivery.Implements project management reporting tools, progress dashboards, and methodologies to gain visibility into HR project health and status.Works closely with third-party vendors to ensure contract terms and conditions are being met as well as managing the project schedule.Required Skills/AttributesMAX BILL RATE: $100.52DURATION: 6mo5-7 years of progressive project management experience, including significant experience leading traditional, phase-based (Waterfall) projects and applying Agile/Scrum practices in a hybrid delivery environment.Strong working knowledge of project governance, change control, and formal approval processes.Experience managing projects with procurement, vendor contracting, and third-party delivery components.Ability to apply Agile/Scrum practices within a broader traditional or hybrid project framework.Desired Skills/AttributesProject Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred; equivalent project management certification or demonstrated experience may be considered.Interview Process2 rounds of interviews.Candidates may be asked to prepare and deliver a 15–20-minute presentation (3–5 slides) presenting a project of their choosing (preferably an HR-related initiative). The presentation should outline a project kickoff or charter and demonstrate experience with traditional, phase-based project delivery, including planning, governance, and controls, as well as how Agile practices would be incorporated in a hybrid delivery environment.
