This is a 1099 independent contractor role—not a salary or hourly job. Agents are compensated on a 100% commission basis. Stay current through ongoing training to continually enhance your skills and industry knowledge. Represent the Philosophy Financial team with integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to service. Qualifications Positive, motivated, and coachable attitude. Strong communication skills with a willingness to learn. Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license. Ability to get licensed in your state of residence. Licensure approval does include a background investigation. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. Investment & Licensing Requirements Getting started in this industry requires a modest upfront investment: Agency Platform Fee: $200 (training, support, and carrier access). Licensing Costs: Approx. $120 for the state of Maryland (if unlicensed; full guidance provided). Other states vary in licensing costs and requirements. Licensing coordinators are available for additional insight and support. Continuing Education: Approx. $30-50; Required to maintain your license and stay compliant. Please note: This role is 100% commission-based. Income is dependent on your performance and effort. There are no salary, hourly wages, or income guarantees. Compensation Range Typical first-year agents may earn between $30,000 – $100,000+ annually, depending on part-time or full-time commitment, sales activity, and business growth.
