Warehouse Manager
Company Overview:Heretic Parfum is a luxury fragrance company known for clean ingredients, provocative creativity, and a bold, non-conformist brand identity. As we continue scaling from a small-to-medium business into a larger, more operationally complex company, we are building the warehouse, fulfillment, production, and logistics infrastructure needed to support our next stage of growth.Role Overview:The Warehouse Manager will lead day-to-day warehouse operations and help build the systems, workflows, and team structure needed to support rapid growth.This role is ideal for someone with experience in a growth-stage company, 3PL environment, or warehouse operation supporting approximately $50M to $100M in revenue or comparable fulfillment complexity. The right candidate understands how to improve warehouse flow, increase DTC fulfillment capacity, support TikTok Shop and Amazon pack-outs, coordinate with production, and prepare for secondary warehouse or overflow operations.Equally important, this person must be friendly, personable, and able to lead with a soft touch. We are looking for someone who can create structure and accountability while maintaining trust, respect, and a positive team culture.Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse OperationsOversee daily receiving, storage, inventory movement, picking, packing, shipping, returns, and replenishment.Improve warehouse layout, workflow, labor planning, and fulfillment speed.Build clear, repeatable processes and SOPs for warehouse operations.Keep the warehouse clean, organized, safe, and efficient.Identify and remove bottlenecks across fulfillment, inventory, pack-outs, and production handoff.DTC, TikTok Shop, Amazon, and Wholesale FulfillmentSupport increased DTC order volume, with a goal of significantly expanding fulfillment capacity.Manage workflows for Shopify, TikTok Shop, Amazon, wholesale, special projects, and launch pack-outs.Ensure orders are accurate, on time, properly packed, and aligned with Heretic’s brand standards.Coordinate with e-commerce, inventory, production, and customer service teams to keep order flow smooth.Production and Inventory CoordinationPartner with production to ensure finished goods, components, packaging, and special projects move efficiently through the operation.Support production-adjacent activities such as staging, kitting, labeling, packaging readiness, and finished goods intake.Improve inventory accuracy through cycle counts, location control, discrepancy resolution, and clear inventory movement procedures.Help maintain visibility across primary warehouse space, secondary warehouse space, and overflow storage.Scaling and Process ImprovementHelp transition the warehouse from informal SMB processes into a more scalable MMB operating model.Apply 3PL or high-volume warehouse best practices in a practical, right-sized way.Support planning for secondary warehouse operations, overflow storage, equipment, staffing, and space needs.Recommend improvements to systems, reporting, layout, staffing, and fulfillment processes.Safety and ComplianceMaintain a safe, compliant, and well-organized warehouse environment.Support OSHA, Cal/OSHA, fire safety, SDS, hazardous material, fragrance, and flammable goods compliance.Ensure proper labeling, storage, handling, and shipping practices for applicable products.Coordinate with contractors and vendors for maintenance, equipment, racking, HVAC, pest control, security, and facility needs.People LeadershipLead warehouse and production-adjacent employees with professionalism, patience, and respect.Train, coach, and develop team members.Set clear expectations while maintaining a positive and approachable leadership style.Resolve issues calmly, diplomatically, and fairly.Build a culture of accountability without intimidation or unnecessary tension.Key Performance IndicatorsOrder accuracyOn-time fulfillmentDTC fulfillment capacityPick, pack, and ship productivityInventory accuracyCycle count completionPackout completion and deadline adherenceShipping error rateWarehouse cleanliness and organizationSafety incident rateLabor efficiencyEmployee morale and retentionSOP adoption and training completionQualificationsRequired7 to 10 years of warehouse, fulfillment, logistics, 3PL, operations, or supply chain experience.3 or more years managing warehouse teams.Experience in a growth-stage company, 3PL, or warehouse operation with approximately $50M to $100M in revenue or comparable complexity.Strong understanding of DTC fulfillment, e-commerce shipping, inventory control, packouts, kitting, and wholesale order flow.Experience with platforms or systems such as Shopify, Amazon, TikTok Shop, shipping software, ERP, WMS, or similar tools.Ability to improve warehouse layout, labor planning, workflow, and fulfillment throughput.Experience building SOPs and training teams.Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.Calm, diplomatic, friendly, and people-centered leadership style.PreferredExperience in beauty, fragrance, cosmetics, luxury goods, CPG, fashion, or wellness.Experience with Amazon FBA/FBM, TikTok Shop, Shopify fulfillment, wholesale routing, or retail packouts.Experience with alcohol-based, flammable, limited quantity, or hazmat-regulated consumer products.Experience coordinating with production, manufacturing, assembly, packaging, or quality control teams.Experience managing secondary warehouse space, overflow inventory, or 3PL partners.Spanish-language communication skills are a plus.Ideal CandidateThe ideal Warehouse Manager is a hands-on operator and practical builder.
