Lead Mold Maker (2nd Shift)

Job Description Lead Mold MakerHanson International, located in St. Joseph, Michigan, specializes in the design, build, sample, and inspection of precision molds – primarily for the die cast industry. Hanson International is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill a night shift lead mold maker position. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Project management.Machining of die components in a CNC machine tool (Milltronics preferred).Fitting die components to cavity and holder blocks Die spotting and bluing.Assembly and disassembly of dies.Plumbing of cooling circuits.Understand all machining processes used in mold/die manufacturing. EXPERIENCE: 5 years in building die cast dies.Journeyman mold maker certificate.CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:High School diploma.Active learning, good judgment, and time management skills.Strong math and communication skills.Ability to work as a team to achieve goals.Good mechanical knowledge. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
