Our hours are 7:30-4:30. We are willing to be flexible with days if needed.The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to create a calm, welcoming atmosphere for patients of all ages. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, support patient education, and ensure adherence to the highest standards of infection control and safety protocols. This role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive setting that prioritizes both patient comfort and professional growth.DutiesPerform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to maintain optimal oral health for patients.Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history review, to develop personalized treatment plans.Assist with dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.Take dental radiographs (hand held portable xray machine) while ensuring proper infection control procedures are followed.Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.Review medical records and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations.Maintain aseptic technique and adhere strictly to infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.Utilize dental terminology accurately when documenting procedures and communicating with team members.Manage electronic medical records (EMR systems) efficiently for documentation review and data entry.ExperienceProven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a general Private PracticeProficiency in using EMR systems such as Eagle soft or Dentrix for documentation and record management.Strong understanding of infection control standards, aseptic techniques, and sterilization processes.Familiarity with dental coding, dental terminology, and dental records managementExcellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectivelyKnowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality and privacy of patient information.
