TRICOM combines deep industry expertise with a strong customer service orientation to help clients realize their long-term potential.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Staff Accountant role located in Milwaukee, WI. The Staff Accountant will handle daily accounting activities, including recording journal entries, maintaining the general ledger, and reconciling bank and account balances. This role will support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, assist with payroll-related accounting entries, and help ensure accurate and timely billing and cash application. The Staff Accountant will participate in month-end and year-end close, prepare standard reports and schedules, and assist with audits and compliance documentation. The individual will collaborate closely with internal teams to resolve discrepancies, maintain accurate financial records, and contribute to process improvements within the accounting function.Qualifications Strong general accounting skills, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations.Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and cash application processes.Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel (e.g., pivot tables, v-lookups, basic reporting).Ability to analyze financial data, identify variances, and support month-end and year-end close activities.High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills in a deadline-driven environment.Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and adhere to internal controls and compliance standards.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Prior experience in lending, financial services, or the staffing industry is beneficial but not required.
