Traveling Superintendent Commercial Construction

Job DescriptionTraveling SuperintendentA regional leader in the commercial construction industry is seeking Traveling Superintendents. These positions will manage new builds across the nation, ranging from multi-family buildings to industrial facilities. A successful candidate will have the proven ability of managing all phases of commercial construction. This position will provide leadership and management oversight for their diverse project portfolio. The right candidate will feel at home in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.This position comes with a total rewards package of company truck, flexible travel package, per diem based on location of the role, gas card, tablet and cell phone.Responsibilities:Partner with project managers to deliver profitable resultsManage all phases of commercial constructionBuilding, updating, and owning project scheduleResponsible for resource loading on projectsMentor and train all field employeesManage and interpret all construction documentsEffectively manage all sub-contractors, and ownersResponsible for communicating with owners, architects, and vendorsBasic Requirements:5+ years' experience in a superintendent positionExperience managing projects greater than $20 millionMust have the ability to manage complex multi-story projectsAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situationsAbility to effectively interact with all members of the organization and work with cross-functional teamsEffective time management and prioritization skillsDemonstrated effective communication skills, both written and oralPreferred Skills/ Experience:Experience with a project scheduling software systemPlease send your resume to sydney.holland@gogpac.com or call/text 605.610.1243 for more information.
