Our services support the Military Service Member, the Veteran and federal personnel support of health concerns, returning to duty, to their families and their communities and bettering short and long-term outcomes, through integrated healthcare and research.Job DescriptionCompass Government Solutions is seeking a Referral Management Services Clerk to support the Puget Sound Military Appointing Center (PSMAC). Puget Sound Military Appointing Center (PSMAC) is the primary centralized service hub for appointment services, referral management, and care coordination for PSMHS beneficiaries. This role helps ensure timely access to high-quality healthcare by processing referrals, managing beneficiary inquiries, and supporting specialty appointing operations within the MHS GENESIS system.Work Schedule & LocationHours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (excluding federal holidays)Location: 5050 20th Street E, Fife, WA, 98424Job Duties:Review and process specialty care referrals within required timelinesDetermine whether patients are appointed to the MTF or deferred to the networkCoordinate specialty appointments and conduct outbound scheduling and reminder callsManage inbound and outbound calls in a high-volume healthcare environmentVerify beneficiary eligibility and provide clear guidance on referral statusProcess Secure Messaging System (SMS) appointment requestsCommunicate referral updates, denials, or incomplete requests to providersAccurately document all actions in MHS GENESISSupport urgent referrals and ensure compliance with access-to-care standardsPrioritize tasks in alignment with mission requirementsQualificationsHigh School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalencyProficiency in Word, Excel, Access, and related softwareStrong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skillsMust be able to obtain clearance to access the work site located on a CSMHS military installation and be granted a Common Access Card (CAC)Healthcare administrative experience preferredAdditional InformationBenefits:At Compass Government Solutions, we value our team and offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, well-being, and professional growth:Competitive Salary – Recognizing your skills and experience.
