Plant Maintenance Mechanic

1st Shift. Starting pay, $28.80 per hour Shift starts at 4:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. Some Saturdays, Sundays and/or Holidays may be required, as needed. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Must be mechanically inclined Must be able to identify issues and determine appropriate solutions Must be proficient with the use of a plasma cutter and oxygen-acetylene cutting torch for fabrication. Must be experienced with Stick welding and MIG welding, horizontal and vertical. Inverted, a plus. Must be able to read a measuring device to the 32nd of an inch or 1/10 of an inch. Must be able to work in all types of weather. Cold, hot, wet, snow, ice and rain. Must not be afraid of heights or water. Must be able to carry a minimum of 50 pounds upstairs or on walkways, bending, lifting and working in awkward positions Must be willing to train in other positions.
