Human Resources Coordinator- Part Time - Clerical

This Part-Time clerical job (between 20 and 30 hours per week) is located on-site in Scottdale, PA (Westmoreland County). Position schedule may be flexible, based on Department need, working Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.POSITION SUMMARY:The Human Resources Coordinator assists the Human Resources Department with daily administrative dutiesfollowing all applicable company policies and procedures and performs related work as assigned.II. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvides effective, diverse, decentralized support to all operations by achieving the following results:Assists the department in carrying out various clerical human resources tasks such as scanning and uploading documents, processing verifications of employment, and other human resources administrative tasks.The majority of assigned tasks are completed electronically using Microsoft Office Suite, COINS ERP, or other electronic portal. Computer skills are critical for this position.Other DutiesParticipates in administrative staff department meetings.Administrative duties and projects, as assigned.III. QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. One to three years ofoffice/clerical support experience in human resources or related field. Construction type industry experiencepreferred.Language SkillsWritten Comprehension - the ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing; the abilityto effectively communicate information and ideas using various reports and other correspondence in writing.Reading Comprehension - the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating andmaintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, etc.Oral Comprehension - the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spokenwords and sentences, as well as the ability to effectively communicate information and ideas when speaking toindividuals and groups.
