Job Description Job SummaryTimely travel to/from job sitesWe are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician/Handyman to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems across various commercial and industrial sites. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and electrical codes, including the National Electrical Code (NEC). This is a great opportunity to join a team with long-term work and growth potential.ResponsibilitiesLight plumbing and electrical tasksHanging TVs, signs, and wall boardsPainting (indoor & outdoor)Parking lot line stripingGeneral labor and industrial installationsScissor lift operations (training provided if needed)Clear communication with site managers and clientsTimely travel to/from job sitesResponsibilitiesInstall, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment on construction sites and commercial facilities.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations.Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete electrical tasks.Conduct low voltage and high voltage electrical work in accordance with NEC standards, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.Test electrical systems using instruments such as ohmmeters, ammeters, and multimeters to identify faults or issues.Collaborate with other construction professionals like frame carpenters and electricians to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless execution.Maintain detailed records of work performed, inspections completed, and materials used for project documentation.ExperienceProven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings with a strong understanding of electrical systems.Hands-on experience working on sites with knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics interpretation.Familiarity with low voltage systems as well as high voltage power distribution is highly desirable.Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, along with power tools for installation purposes.Experience working with NEC standards and conducting safety inspections on construction or maintenance projects.Ability to operate testing instruments like ohmmeters, ammeters, and schematics for troubleshooting electrical issues.Prior experience in frame carpentry or related construction activities is a plus but not required.
