This role balancesdirect clinical care with oversight responsibilities, ensuringhigh-quality, culturally competent, trauma-informed services across thedepartment. The Lead Behavioral Health Specialist works closely withHealth Center Leadership and multidisciplinary teams to supportintegrated care, staff development, and program growth.\\**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:** **Clinical Services** Provide direct behavioral health treatment, case management, carecoordination, and crisis intervention to individuals, families,couples, and groups. Conduct psychosocial assessments; develop, implement, and monitortreatment plans; complete progress notes; and facilitate referralsto internal and external support services. Deliver integrated, comprehensive care to patients experiencingco-occurring disorders. Participate in warm handoffs and respond to crisis situations duringoffice hours. Work within a clinical behavioral health on-call rotation scheduleas needed.Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation inthe electronic health record (EHR).**Supervision & Leadership** Provide weekly individual and group clinical supervision tobehavioral health staff, including provisionally licensedclinicians, working towards clinical licensure. Lead departmental meetings, case staffings, and clinicalconsultations. Review and provide feedback on psychosocial assessments, treatmentplans, and progress notes to ensure clinical quality and compliance. Monitor staff productivity and documentation standards to supportdepartmental goals. Support staff performance management, coaching, and professionalgrowth using a solution-focused approach. Ensure staff maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentationwithin IMANs EHR, AthenaOne.**Program Development & Collaboration** Assist with project leadership, program planning, protocoldevelopment, and departmental policies and procedures. Work closely with the Health Center Leadership Team to coordinatepatient flow and integration of behavioral health services. Support grant applications, proposals, and other program developmentefforts as needed. Administrative Responsibilities Assist with departmental administrative tasks, including scheduling,monitoring staff time off, and on-call coverage. Perform other clinical or administrative duties as assigned.**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS** Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriageand Family Therapy. Licensed to practice in the state of Illinois, specifically as aLicensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Minimum of two (2) years of experience providi g clinicalsupervision to behavioral health staff. Demonstrated experience in program development and clinicalleadership. Experience providing pragmatic therapeutic interventions(structural, strategic, and functional) with individuals, couples,families, and groups. Strong understanding of family systems, trauma, and a range oftherapeutic modalities. Ability to lead teams using a solution-focused, strengths-basedapproach. Experience working in multidisciplinary and multicultural settings. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage crises and work effectively in a fast-pacedenvironment. Ability to work fully onsite during regular clinic hours isrequired.**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** Bilingual in Spanish and English, or Arabic and English. Experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) oroutpatient urban mental health setting. Experience providing trauma-informed clinical counseling services.
