Director of Radiation Oncology

Assumes leadership responsibility for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of efficient systems of care for Radiation Oncology. Maintains 24-hour accountability for departments/programs.# Takes ownership of strategic growth and expansion opportunities within growing regions as defined by the strategic plan within Radiation Oncology, Pathology and Oncology Support Services. Responsible for strategic oversight and operational performance for the Radiation Oncology Centers. Experience with High Dose Rate Brachytherapy and Radiotheranostics preferred.# Leader will show integrity and initiative to meet the mission, vision and values of CaroMont Health Qualifications: Holds current ARRT registration to practice as a Radiation Therapist. Associates in Applied Science in Radiation Therapy Technology. Master#s degree preferred in Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field.# Five (5) years of healthcare management in a supervisory role or equivalent experience. # Strong financial planning and multiple site management skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent customer service skills required.# Excellent computer skills including an understanding of MS Office Suite, Internet and Email; knowledge of medical terminology is required; advanced account inquiry skills; initiative/problem solving skills required; must be able to manage and foster a team environment.
