Kimco Staffing is Hiring a Oder Processing Team Lead in Ontario!Position: Oder Processing Team LeadLocation: OntarioDays: Monday – FridayHours : 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with OT as needed and occasional weekend workPay: $20-$25 DOEJob duties:The Order Processing Team Lead plays a critical role in supporting the daily operations of the order processing department within a fast-paced wholesale food distribution company.This position is responsible for overseeing the accurate and timely processing of customer orders, creating delivery routes, handling invoicing and credits, and serving as a key point of contact between customers, sales representatives, merchandisers, and internal office staff.Responsibilities:Oversee the processing of incoming customer orders via phone, email, and EDI systems.Review and confirm orders for accuracy and product availability.Ensure all orders are entered, invoiced, and processed in a timely manner.Create and send daily delivery routes to the appropriate drivers or team members.Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure on-time and accurate deliveries.Contact customers to confirm or place orders as needed.Address order-related inquiries or issues with professionalism and urgency.Generate invoices and ensure all the billing information is accurate.Review and process credits and EDI-related adjustments.Verify and reconcile any discrepancies with orders or credits.Communicate with merchandisers regarding notes, updates, or special instructions provided by sales representatives.Provide daily support and guidance to office staff involved in order entry and customer service.Serve as the liaison between departments to ensure a smooth order-to-delivery process.Train and mentor order processing staff.Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to company policies and service standards.Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.2–3 years of experience in order processing, customer service, or logistics; prior team lead or supervisory experience a plus.Experience in wholesale food distribution or similar industry preferred.Strong knowledge of order management systems, invoicing, and EDI transactions.Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and general computer systems.About Kimco/MediQuest/Advantex"Kimco Staffing Services is a rapidly growing, award-winning staffing firm whose purpose is to add real value to our clients and candidates while "Changing lives, One Job at a Time".  We have won  Best of Staffing Client and Talent satisfaction awards from Clearly Rated for the last 10 years.
