The Impact You’ll MakeAs a CNC Machinist/Programmer at Accu Trak, you’ll play a critical role in creating the best knurling tools in the world. You’ll make products that are essential to manufacturing in the medical, scientific, aerospace, defense, automotive, electronics, hardware, sporting goods, and jewelry industries. And you’ll have the satisfaction of being part of a team of people committed to achieving the highest standards for quality.What You’ll DoSet up and operate CNC milling and turning machines, including Okuma & Haas mills and lathesSet up and operate manual milling and turning machinesCAM programming using GibbscamRead and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructionsMake manual edits to existing G-code programsRun production jobs while maintaining tight tolerances and high-quality standardsSet up and operate 4th axis machining for complex part geometriesConduct in-process and final inspections using traditional inspection toolsTroubleshoot machining and quality issues, making necessary adjustmentsMaintain clean and organized work areaCollaborate with engineering and programming teams to improve processes and efficiency.What You’ll Bring·       5+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment·       Proven experience with Okuma & Haas 3-axis mills and lathes·       Proven experience with manual mills and lathes·       Experience using CAM software·       Hands-on experience with 4th axis machining·       Strong understanding of machining fundamentals (feeds, speeds, tooling, workholding)·       Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T·       Inspection and quality skills that include:o  Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, dial indicators, bore gauges, optical comparators, and toolmaker’s microscopeso  The ability to verify part conformance to tight tolerances·       Experience documenting inspection results·       A strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a team environment·       An innate drive to achieve high-quality results and excellent attention to detail.·       Ideally, candidates would also bring the following (which are preferred but not required):o  Prior experience in high-precision industries (medical/scientific, aerospace, defense)o  Experience using Gibbscamo  Ability to perform full machine setups independently and independently troubleshoot CNC programs and tooling issues.Why You’ll Love It HereMentorship from a seasoned team who is invested in your growth.Hands-on exposure to cutting-edge manufacturing technologies.A collaborative culture where your ideas are heard and valued.
