The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the clinical operations function, both internally and with external partners, to ensure a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence. This role involves overseeing the strategic planning, implementation, and management of clinical trials, with a focus on aligning them with timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The VP/ED will also be tasked with providing strategic input into trial design, ensuring regulatory and compliance oversight, and proactively managing operational risks to guarantee successful trial outcomes. Applicants must have a BS, MS, or PhD in a relevant scientific discipline, with a minimum of 10 years of progressive clinical operations experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry. Experience in clinical development through Phase 3, including participation in a drug approval, is essential. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in managing high-performing teams and external partners, deep knowledge of clinical trial design, execution, and global regulatory requirements, and a strong executive presence with excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
