Marshfield Medical Center - Weston is seeking a BC/BE Pulmonary Medicine, Sleep Medicine and Critical Care physician in Weston, Wisconsin. The position is 50:50 inpatient critical care medicine (in Weston, Wisconsin) and outpatient Pulmonary Medicine - Sleep Medicine covering shifts in both Stevens Point and Weston, Wisconsin. Schedule includes 7 days Critical Care and 2 weeks Pulmonary - Sleep Medicine clinic per month. Procedures include, but are not limited to bronchoscopy, EBUS, line insertion, chest tube insertion, intubation, fine needle aspiration and thoracentesis. This role includes Sleep Medicine comprehensive evaluations and management of a full spectrum of adult sleep disorders and working within the Weston Sleep Medicine lab. Job Description: The Pulmonology & Critical Care Physician provides specialized care to patients with acute and chronic respiratory diseases and critically ill patients in the intensive care unit (ICU). This role involves both outpatient pulmonary medicine and inpatient critical care responsibilities, focusing on the diagnosis, treatment, and management of complex pulmonary conditions, critical illnesses, and multisystem organ failure. The physician works as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care aimed at improving patient outcomes. Qualifications:M.D. or D.O. degreeCompletion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Pulmonary, Sleep Medicine and Critical Care MedicineCurrent medical license in each state of practiceState Controlled Substance License (if required by State)Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe controlled substances in each state of practiceBoard Certified in Pulmonary Disease, Sleep Medicine & Critical Care Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine or equivalent (American Osteopathic Board, Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada).
