Entre Nous is a 60-seat wine bar in the heart of Clinton Hill, opened in December 2024, from the team behind Fradei Bistro. Inspired by our favorite wine bars in Paris, we offer a robust wine list alongside a menu of classic French small plates, chilled seafood, and cheese & charcuterie. Open 6 days a week, Tuesday through Sunday. We are seeking a Chef de Cuisine to lead our kitchen team. You will work in-tandem with the Executive Chef - developing the menu, organizing day to day operations, and setting standards - with the expectation that you will be managing day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate should have: 3+ years experience cooking in a fast-paced NYC restaurant Previous management experience Full mastery of knife skills and classic cooking techniques, and a strong comfort level with coaching line cooks in these areas The ability to expo a busy service while overseeing every line cook’s station, ensuring proper organization, cleanliness and the highest standards of quality The ability to handle day-to-day ordering, review prep lists and delegate responsibilities among line cooks and porters Knowledge of how to maintain kitchen cleanliness at or above NYC DOH standards A food handlers card The ability to build team schedules Comfort with managing 4-6 line cooks and porters Strong communication skills A positive, solutions-oriented attitude Conversational Spanish language proficiency Compensation: Salaried at $70K-80K annually Benefits: Employer-provided health insurance (including dental and vision) 401K program with the potential for a lump sum employer contribution after 1 year of employment, based on employee and company performance Paid time off Paid sick time More detail about Entre Nous part of Fradei Bistro & Entre Nous, please visit
