The Meat Manager will oversee daily operations of the meat and seafood department, including managing inventory, ensuring product quality, and supervising staff. Responsibilities include butchery, maintaining proper sanitation standards, engaging with customers, and optimizing sales. The role actively contributes to providing an organized and well-stocked department to meet customer expectations.QualificationsProficiency in Inventory Control and management of stock levelsStrong skills in Butchery and expertise in handling meat and related productsExcellent Customer Service capabilities and ability to build strong community relationshipsExperience and knowledge in handling and preparing Seafood and Meat productsSales aptitude and the ability to develop strategies to achieve departmental goalsStrong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining hygiene and safety standardsPrevious leadership experience in a similar role is a plusHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in meat cutting or food safety are advantageous
