Position: Master SchedulerDuration: PermLocation: Columbus, MSSalary: $100,000-120,000Required Skills & Experience5–7+ years of experience in production scheduling, master scheduling, or a related function within a manufacturing environmentStrong experience developing and managing production schedules within an ERP systemSolid understanding of manufacturing processes, including procurement, quality, and engineering workflowsExperience with capacity planning and production optimization methodologies (e.g., level loading, scheduling techniques)Ability to analyze data and translate it into actionable production plansProficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel; experience with scheduling tools is requiredStrong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentEffective communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally with leadership and production teamsDemonstrated ability to track, report, and present production status and performanceNice to Have Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experienceExperience in a highly regulated or complex manufacturing environment (e.g., aerospace, defense, or similar industries)Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologiesExperience using advanced scheduling tools such as MS Project or similar platformsBackground in machining or precision manufacturing environmentsExperience improving production efficiency through schedule optimization and process enhancementsJob DescriptionThe Master Scheduler Manager plays a critical role in planning and coordinating manufacturing operations to ensure production aligns with customer requirements and delivery timelines. This individual is responsible for developing and managing production schedules, optimizing material flow, and collaborating cross-functionally to drive operational efficiency. This role requires the ability to manage complex scheduling environments, analyze production capacity, and translate high-level demand into detailed execution plans across manufacturing teams.
