Senior Director, Case Installations

Job DescriptionYour RoleThe Case Installations team oversees end-to-end implementation for new and renewing employer groups, ensuring seamless onboarding and compliance across fully insured, ASO, and Group Medicare products. The Senior Director, Case Installations, reports to the VP, Commercial Growth and Strategy, will lead a high-performing organization responsible for strategic design, operational execution, and continuous improvement of group installation processes. Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiativesOperational Oversight & Process OptimizationOversee end-to-end implementation workflows, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency. Reduce errors and turnaround time through process redesign and automationCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Sales, Account Management, Operations, Product, and Technology teams to deliver integrated solutions and exceptional client experiencesCapacity Planning & Risk ManagementForecast resource needs during peak seasons, implement contingency plans, and manage escalations to maintain service levelsClient Experience & Quality AssuranceEnsure timely delivery of client-facing materials and maintain high standards for first impressions and ongoing supportPeople Leadership & Talent DevelopmentLead a large team of people leaders and staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth. Ensure succession planning and capability buildingQualificationsYour Knowledge and ExperienceRequires a college degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, including 6 years of management experienceRequires expertise in large-scale group installations across multiple health insurance product types (ASO, Shared Advantage, Fully Insured, Medicare, Dental & Vision), systems integration, and process automationRequires experience with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce is essential, along with a proven track record of designing and executing complex onboarding workflowsStrong knowledge of compliance, influence and cross-functional coordination is criticalExpertise in process optimization, change management, and stakeholder engagement, along with a proven track record of designing and executing complex onboarding workflowsStrong business acumen with the ability to translate strategy into executionAdept at influencing and driving change across matrixed-teams in a fast-paced, deadline driven environmentAbout the TeamAbout Blue Shield of CaliforniaAs of January 2025, Blue Shield of California became a subsidiary of Ascendiun.
