It is a place to be challenged, explore your curiosity, and grow your career.Job Overview:The People & Performance Site Lead, is a leadership role responsible for owning people, performance, and culture outcomes at SpiTrex 3D. This role serves as the primary site-level leader for organizational effectiveness, manager enablement, employee engagement, retention, and HR execution, while partnering closely with Corporate HR to ensure policy alignment and regulatory compliance.This position is intentionally designed to balance strategic leadership, operational execution, and hands-on administrative support. The ideal candidate is a trusted advisor to the President, a constructive challenger to leadership, and a disciplined executor who thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability manufacturing environment.Essential Functions:Company Culture and Mission:Consistently apply core values (Integrity, Impact, Dedication) to your decision-making process and interactions with others.Uphold and contribute to the company's quality policy commitment.Organizational Effectiveness & CultureAct as steward of SpiTrex 3D's culture, values, and performance standards, ensuring they are actively lived, reinforced, and protected.Identify behaviors, practices, or patterns that erode culture or pace and address them directly and constructively.Partner with leadership to ensure that accountability, fairness, and clarity are consistently applied across teams.Serve as a trusted advisor and constructive challenger to the President on people-related decisions and organizational health.Manager Enablement & Performance SystemsDesign, implement, and continuously improve manager tools, including:1:1 frameworksPerformance feedback and coaching toolsPerformance review processesDevelopment and succession planningCoach managers to elevate leadership effectiveness, ownership, and decision-making.Identify early indicators of underperformance, burnout, or engagement risk and intervene proactively.Support leadership in promotion, role clarity, and redeployment decisions as the organization matures.Talent, Engagement & RetentionOwn site-level employee engagement and retention strategy, with a focus on early action rather than reactive measures.Partner with managers to retain high performers and address recurring people issues.Lead recruiting support efforts, including role scoping, candidate evaluation, and interview processes.Ensure onboarding is effective, consistent, and reinforces expectations, culture, and performance standards from day one.HR Operations & Administrative Leadership (Retained and Required)Oversee and support core HR administrative functions, including:Onboarding documentation and coordinationEmployee records and personnel file managementTimekeeping and attendance administrationBenefits administration support and open enrollment coordinationTraining coordination and compliance trackingMaintain accurate HR records and HRIS data in compliance with company policies and California labor regulations.Support HR audits, investigations, and corrective actions in partnership with Corporate HR.Respond to employee HR-related inquiries with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.Provide administrative HR support to Corporate HR as needed to ensure alignment and execution efficiency.Compliance & Corporate HR PartnershipPartner closely with Corporate HR to ensure alignment with enterprise policies, benefits programs, and legal requirements.Serve as the site-level interpreter of corporate policy, ensuring it is implemented in a way that works effectively in the California regulatory environment.Escalate risks, compliance concerns, or complex employee issues appropriately while maintaining site ownership of outcomes.Participate in corporate HR initiatives and forums as a contributing partner, not merely an implementer.Office & Site Support (as needed)Provide oversight and coordination of select office administration functions where appropriate, including:Office operations and vendor coordinationInternal communications and announcementsFacilities-related coordination tied to employee experienceEnsure the work environment supports safety, organization, and productivity.Other work-related tasks as assignedThis role may provide hands-on support for select administrative and office-related functions as needed, particularly during periods of transition, absence, or growth, while maintaining primary accountability for people, performance, and culture outcomes.Competency:Strong understanding of general human resources policies, procedures, and best practices.Exposure to labor laws and employment equity regulations; knowledge of California labor law preferred.High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information.Ability to exercise sound judgment and initiative on complex assignments requiring independent problem-solving.Team-oriented, results-driven mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.Demonstrated ability to operate as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.Excellent planning, organizational, and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); HRIS and timekeeping system experience preferred.Strong attention to detail with effective documentation, recordkeeping, and reporting capabilities.Ability to coordinate office operations, vendors, and facilities-related activities efficiently.Must be able to interact effectively at all levels of the company and handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.Comfortable challenging leadership respectfully and constructively.Ability to work both independently and in partnership with others.Ability to balance empathy with accountability in a performance-driven environment.Willingness to assist coworkers.Ability to work well under pressure.A passion for continuous learning.Education and Experience:Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.7+ years of progressive HR, people leadership, or organizational effectiveness experience.HR-related certifications (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SC) or administrative certifications are a plus but not required.Experience in a manufacturing, medical device, or regulated environment is a plus.Benefits Include:Medical, Vision and Dental InsuranceShort Term Disability401(k) plus matchVacation daysPaid holidays
