DescriptionWe're looking for a seasoned Strategy & Planning Manager to serve as a force multiplier for our leadership team. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and communications — driving alignment across product lines, keeping the organization running at peak efficiency, and ensuring our teams are connected to the bigger picture. You'll operate as a trusted partner to senior leadership, with broad visibility across the portfolio and the judgment to know when to drive, when to facilitate, and when to unblock.Key job responsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & AlignmentDrive strategic planning and execution across product lines, connecting to broader organizational goalsOwn Goal processes, planning cycles, and special projects on behalf of senior leadershipProactively identify strategic risks and opportunities across product lines and org structures; surface recommendations to senior leadership with clear options and trade-offsCommunications & CultureDevelop and execute internal communications strategy in partnership with PXTPlan and lead townhalls, offsites, and engagement initiatives that reinforce team cultureOrganizational ManagementRun staff meetings, oversee headcount planning and resource allocationDrive hiring strategies, organizational design, and operational efficiencyProduct & Business OperationsCoordinate roadmap planning, reviews, and strategic documentation across the portfolioDrive AI tools adoption, process optimization, and Rhythm of Business mechanismsAmazon Fellows ProgramOwn end-to-end strategy and execution; recruit and align VP-level participantsManage relationship with Social Venture Partners, coordinate with Amazon Community Impact, and drive communications across program stakeholders and PRPartner ManagementOrchestrate customer/partner engagements and represent leadership in critical meetingsServe as a decision-escalation point when the organization is stuck; diagnose root causes of misalignment, frame options, and drive resolution across senior stakeholdersSupport PR/speaking engagements including talk tracks and demosBasic Qualifications 10+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience 10+ years of program or project management experience 10+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience Bachelor's degree Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements Experience in written and verbal communication with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leadersPreferred Qualifications Experience delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality Experience in talent management, organizational network analysis, and organizational design and development Demonstrated ability to operate with ambiguity and exercise independent judgment on sensitive/confidential matters Familiarity with AI/ML tools and a bias toward operational automationAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
