The person will be responsible for overseeing the Golf Channel Latin America schedule and supporting other operations functions of the programming team. This position works directly with all levels of the programming team and other key contacts across the USA Sports organization including Ad Sales, Creative Services, Operations, Traffic, Production and Marketing.ResponsibilitiesSupport all programming, rights management, strategic scheduling initiatives for USA Sports' deep roster of partnersMain point of contact for the Golf Channel Latin America scheduleCreate and distribute daily and ad-hoc multi-platform scheduling reports for Ad-sales planning/finance/Business Development, Production and other departments as neededManage Golf Channel programming hours during budget and upfront season working with ad-sales digital finance and digital research teamsEnter Golf Channel and Golf Channel Latin America schedules and program changes into Golf Channel's scheduling systemMaintain and enter Golf Channel Alternate Schedules for Canada and the CaribbeanAssist with additional projects and administrative needs for the departmentQualificationsMinimum two years' experience in the television/film production business (internships included)Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite is a plusBasic knowledge of Sports, including golfExcellent communication, organizational and time-management skillsEligibility RequirementsWillingness to work overtime, and some nights and weekends as needed (flexibility in broadcast environment is imperative)Must be willing to physically work out of our Stamford CT locations on a hybrid basisMust have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United StatesMust be 18 years or olderDesired CharacteristicsAbility to adhere to tight deadlines, communicate clearly and be able to handle multiple tasks in a high-pressure environmentCollaborative and team orientedAs part of our selection process, external candidates may be required to attend an in-person interview with a VERSANT Media employee at one of our locations prior to a hiring decision.
