Backend Developer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Backend Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems that power our web and mobile applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and efficient solutions in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs Build scalable, secure, and high-performance server-side applications Integrate backend systems with front-end components and third-party services Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and scalability Develop and maintain automated tests Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices Contribute to architectural decisions and technical improvements Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) 3+ years of professional experience in backend development Strong proficiency in at least one backend programming language (e.g., Python, Java, or C++) Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB) Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Django or Node.js Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and system integration Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) Experience with CI/CD pipelines Job Type: Full-time Pay: $114,379.67 - $137,747.56 per year Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
