Registered Behavior Technician
Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior intervention plans for clients with behavioral challenges. This role is essential in providing support and guidance to clients, helping them achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
We are currently seeking an RBT to provide services in home, school, and/or community. Applicants should be comfortable working with children and teenagers providing ABA services. Please be aware that this position may require travel you to travel or provide transportation. Mileage will be reimbursed.
Position Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of prior RBT experience (3 years or more preferred)
Must pass a drug screen and background check
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Duties
Implement behavior management strategies as outlined in care plans.
Assist in the development and modification of individualized treatment plans.
Provide direct patient care, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate clients and their families about behavioral therapy techniques and strategies.
Monitor client progress and report findings to the supervising BCBA.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Skills
Comfortable working with children, teenagers, and young adults.
Proficient in behavior management techniques and special education practices.
Knowledgeable in medical terminology and patient care protocols.
Experience with behavioral therapy approaches and interventions.
Strong ability to educate clients, families, and team members on behavioral health topics.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and colleagues.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
